There is an almost endless selection of great walks in the area. Many are listed on Walkhighlands, a very useful resource. One of our favourite local walks is the ascent of Creag Bheag. You can do it from the house but we would usually start in Kingussie, from where it is only an hour and a half for the complete trip. Although not a huge hill, only 487m high, it offers superb views over the Feshie hills and beyond, The Monadhliath mountains as well as down to loch Gynack. As you can see from the photo, it’s pretty scenic. And there are no sheep, so good with the dog too.
