Loft Self-Catering cottage

This self-catering cottage, the biggest of our cottages, is known as Cairngorm family cottage on Airbnb. Loft cottage is best suited for couples, three singles or a family with two children. Wyndham Vacation Rentals consistently rated it as 3* from 2012 to 2019. It is situated on our Newtonmore site in the Cairngorms National Park.

Loft cottage comprises a large upstairs family bedroom with one king size and two single beds, shower room and combined living/ dining room with kitchen area. There is a double bedsettee in the living room. The kitchen comes equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, and all cooking equipment. There is a TV/DVD, and high speed wifi (25 Mbs), also a comfortable settee and armchair. Prices include 4 towels, bedlinen, and electricity.

This Newtonmore holiday cottage has a link door to Barn cottage and the two cottages can be booked together for up to 7 people. Guests have shared access to the garden, parking area, washing/ drying room, and ironing board/ iron. The cottage faces South West, ideal for the late afternoon/ evening sun. We now have a new enclosed dog playing area in the garden.

We regularly redecorate and upgrade the cottage. Original artwork within the cottage gives it a homely feel.  There is a selection of books and games as well as local information and walking guides.
